There are many chapters to my life: a degree in mental health, 18 years of teaching therapeutic horseback riding, raising my children, and being a caregiver to my parents. I feel so at home as a personal historian and photo organizer. Here, I enter a special place each time I hear someone's story. Helping people tell and save their stories through photos and words is the dream I unearthed a few years ago. Listening to my grandmother’s stories, recording my mother’s stories, and creating a slideshow for a national conference, a wedding, and an anniversary, I finally had that aha moment. This is what I enjoy, listening to life stories and working with photos. In 2014, I set myself on the path to this journey.
I am a Certified Photo Manager, a member of the Life Story Professionals of the Greater Washington Area, and a certified Guided Autobiography Instructor. I also have my certification in Reminiscence and Life Story Work through the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Everyone has a story, and I believe in the value of sharing one's life story. It is a priceless treasure and legacy that connects generations. I can help you preserve your life stories and manage your photo projects from beginning to end.
